The LST is a scissor style, insulated and sealed attic ladder. It collapses as it folds away and expands as it opens. It is spring-loaded and includes a control rod, installation brackets, trim, and a white, finished lid.

The LSF fire-resistant loft ladder acts as a smoke block inside the building preventing the smoke from passing to a smoke free storey. The loft ladder fire-resistance is EI₂= 60 minutes (classification according to EN 13501-2).
